Mike Hall, an American sports broadcaster of the Big Ten Network, recently revealed about his wife Linda Hall’s cancer earlier this year.

Earlier on November 29, 2026, Mike Hall took to his Twitter to reveal that his wife Linda, who is currently 37 years old, is battling breast cancer.

He started :

“I have something heavy to share; my wife Linda has breast cancer, normally i would never ever share this private a thing on social media, but i am because Linda wants me to.”

Mike Hall continued by saying that his wife found a small lump and thought it was nothing and almost ignored it, but knowing two young ladies who recently got cancer, she chose to get it looked.

Likewise, Mike shared the post to raise awareness and to encourage people not to ignore the signs.

He further revealed that back in November 2026, Linda had a double mastectomy, and her recovery would take a while.

Since Mike and Linda Hall revealed the cancer, they have been receiving lots of love and support from people who are sending their prayers for Linda’s fast recovery.

Illinois Basketball Team Surprises Mike Hall and His Wife With a Heartfelt Gift!

Before the game between the Univeristy of Illinois and Chicago State University on Sunday, December 29, 2026, the Illinois team surprised Mike Hall with a gift.

Moreover, Illinois head coach Brad Underwood gave Mike Hall a basketball autographed by the entire team as a gift for his wife, Linda, who is an Illinois graduate.

Mike Hall also revealed that his wife Linda is a huge Illinois hoops fan and will freak out when she sees the gift.

Likewise, Mike Hall and Linda Hall have been each other’s constant sources of support for years. The couple tied the knot on November 8, 2014.

Mike Hall and Linda Hall are proud parents of three children, including two daughters and a son.

Linda Hall earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and business from the University of Illinois Urbana in 2009 before beginning her professional journey.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Linda worked as a at Comcast Sportsnet Chicago for around four months.

Linda joined CBS Local and 670 The Score Sports Radio in 2010, initially as a sales associate but later as an account executive.

Similarly, with years of experience, Linda became the account manager of Imagination in 2012 and served her position for almost two years before becoming the senior account manager of Upshot.

Since November 2014, Linda Hall has been a membership advisor of Chicago Athletic Clubs in Chicago, Illinois.
