Spencer Knight, a skilled NHL goaltender, was born on April 19, 2001, in Darien, Connecticut, to his former hockey player parents, Chris and Lilly Knight.

Spencer began playing hockey when he was just two years old. His parents played a big role in helping him love the sport.

Chris, who coached at their local rink, and Lilly, who played sailing and ice hockey at Hobart William Smith College, encouraged Spencer to play. They even played hockey in high school themselves.

Chris was a police officer in Darien for twenty years before moving into property management.

On the other hand, Lilly Crimmins Knight has been asince 2004.

She attended Philips Academy in 1987 and graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Spencer Is The Oldest Child Of Lilly And Chris, And He Has Two Younger Sisters, Claire And Hannah

By age ten, Spencer had already become a skilled goaltender. , a star player for the New York Rangers, inspired him.

Spencer attended Darien High School for a year before moving to Avon Old Farms. There, he quickly became the starting goaltender on the hockey team.

His success continued when he joined thein 2018 and set a program record with 59 wins in two seasons.

Spencer’s journey to the NHL was filled with big moments.

When he made his NHL debut with the Panthers, his parents and sisters were there to see it happen, even though the COVID-19 pandemic made things challenging.

Throughout his career, Spencer’s family has been very supportive. They often go to his games but like to keep a low profile. Their presence means a lot to Spencer, who appreciates their support.

Spencer Knight’s success in the NHL is thanks to his parents, Chris and Lilly Knight.

Their early support, combined with Spencer’s talent and hard work, has made him one of the most promising young goaltenders in the league.
