The Love story of Renowned Basketball Player Chris Paul and his businesswoman wife, Jada Crawley, started in high school. Therefore, the couple has been together for over two decades.
As the 39-year-old basketball player who graduated from West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina, he probably had met Jada Crawley there.
Paul had already begun his basketball career in high school, playing on the junior varsity team during his freshman and sophomore seasons.
According to various sources, Christopher Emmanuel Paul, aka Chris Paul, only got first to know about his future wife, Jada, through a mutual friend in 2003.
Similarly, in an interview at BET Awards, Jada shared her love story, saying:
We met in high school. I’m a year older than him … in high school it wasn’t cool to be a senior dating a junior.
After the first meeting, the couple casually started dating. Later, Chris Paul joined Wake Forest University after completing their high school education. However, the couple kept in touch and continued their relationship.
During their eight-year relationship, the couple had various fights but reunited again. After almost a decade of on-and-off relationships, they finally tied the knot in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Sept. 10, 2011.

The basketball player who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association often talks about his wife and praises her in his various interviews.
In a March 2026 interview with the , the player shared that supporting the women in his life is more important than anything.
He said:
I think that’s why I’m blessed to have the strong mother I was raised by, but then also have an amazing wife and have the opportunity to raise two amazing kids.
Chris Paul and Jada Crawley share two children together, Chris Jr. and Camryn. Their first son, Chris Jr., was born in 2009 before the couple had a husband-and-wife relationship.
In 2011, their first son, who was around 2 years old, also attended his parent’s wedding.
Similarly, just a year after their marriage, the couple gave birth to their second child, a daughter, Camryn, in 2012.
