I was sick and hurt and burnt out, and I walked. And I can do that because I’m an independent contractor

20 minutes stressed out. Leaving the house and my wife’s like so excited for you. She put this white t-shirt i was probably wearing this. The building security comes out and hands me black sweatpants hoodie. Sit in your car and i ‘m like okay hoodie up

CM Punk further said,

I was sitting in the car by myself, listening to Clash and The Ramones trying to center myself, trying to center myself, trying to think about eight-year-old me. Just literally be in the moments if this happens, set the world on it.

Further adding, Punk said that while he was in the car, he got a text that read, ‘We’re gonna clear the hallway. We’re going to come to get you, or I’m gonna just put you in Triple H’s office.’

Then, Punk revealed that he ran through the building and got into the freight elevator, where he heard people screaming, ‘Clear the hallway.’

When he reached there, he saw many people unaware of his entry react so greatly that the memory was engraved in his mind and heart forever. Punk said that the entry he made into WWE blindly after so many years became one of the greatest moments of his life.
