Julian Lewis, one of the most promising quarterbacks in high school football, owes much of his success to his parents’ support.

Born on September 21, 2007, Lewis hails from a family with a deep-rooted passion for football, and his upbringing has profoundly shaped his journey to becoming a five-star recruit.

Julian’s father, T.C. Lewis, has been instrumental in nurturing his talent.

T.C. was an offensive lineman for the UConn Huskies football team, while Julian’s grandfather, Ty Lewis, served as a high school football coach in New Jersey.

Tragically, he passed away from leukemia in 1990 when T.C. was just 14 years old.

Despite this loss, T.C. carried forward his father’s love for football and ensured that Julian inherited the same drive and commitment.

Julian’s Early Years And Challenges

By the time Julian was seven, he could throw a youth-sized football 25 yards.

Recognizing his potential, T.C. began documenting Julian’s football journey on social media, highlighting his skills and achievements.

When Julian was eight, T.C. sought the guidance of quarterback coach Ron Veal, who had trained NFL stars like and .

Under Veal’s mentorship, Julian began to refine his skills, dedicating countless hours to mastering the game.

Blessed to be able to enjoy these moments with my guy! Continue to do your part and God will do the rest…

While Julian has thrived on the field, his personal life has not been without challenges.

His parents divorced when he was young, and at the age of 10, his mother moved out of state and out of his life.

T.C. took on full custody of Julian and his siblings, raising them with the help of his new wife.

Thank you to for being my sons first offer! Their validation and recognition of his ability means the world to us! @JuJuLewis10 your time is coming!

— T. Carlton Lewis (@TCarltonLewis)

Despite these challenges, T.C.’s dedication to Julian’s growth never wavered.

He invested substantial resources into Julian’s development, from hiring elite coaches to traveling across the country for tournaments and college visits.

This commitment has been a cornerstone of Julian’s rise in the football world.

Building Boundaries For Success And Being A Prodigy

Recognizing the need for balance, T.C. stepped away from coaching Julian directly as his son grew older.

T.C. explained,

“I felt like he needed to start hearing other voices.”

This decision allowed Julian to grow under the guidance of other mentors while maintaining a strong relationship with his father.

Thankful that God has blessed Julian with the ability and work ethic to be able to do the things he does. The success that he has experienced to date only adds fuel to his fire. @JuJuLewis10

Julian Lewis’s prodigious talent has earned him recognition across the country.

He has dominated at every level, from middle school to high school, and received scholarship offers from top programs as early as eighth grade.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank every member of the staff. Your integrity, cohesiveness and communication are 2nd to none in the nation. We are blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Colorado Buff family!

For T.C., Julian’s success is deeply personal. He has poured countless hours and resources into ensuring his son’s growth, and the bond they share is unbreakable.

From driving Julian to practices to celebrating his milestones, T.C. has been there every step of the way.

In Julian’s words,
