Delta Girls’ Captain Kendall Sprow Is Making Her Parents Proud As She Leads Her Team Through One Of Their Greatest Seasons!

Kendall Sprow wears the No. 22 jersey in honor of her late father, Cory Sprow, who tragically passed away in a car accident when she was just six years old.

Kendall Sprow is a talented athlete and the captain of the basketball team Delta Girls.

She has gained attention for her leadership and performance on the court. Her team started the season with an impressive 18-game winning streak.

Despite facing personal tragedy at a young age, she is currently leading the Delta girls’ basketball team through one of the greatest seasons in the school’s history.

Despite The Absence Of Her Father, Kendall’s Mother, Tammy, Has Been Very Supportive Throughout Her Career!

Kendall Sprow was born to parents Cory and Tammy Sprow around 2007.

Her father, Cory Sprow, was a beloved figure in the Delta community and served as an elementary school principal and the head boys varsity basketball coach.

He was known for his dedication to education and sports and his approachable and hardworking nature.

He met his beloved wife, Tammy, when he got his first job in Delta, Ohio, and decided to settle there.

Cory was a star athlete at Edon High School and later attended Bluffton College and Bowling Green State University, where he received his degree in education.

He joined the Pike-Delta-York school system in 1998 and found his passion in teaching and coaching.

Likewise, he spent most of his career as a sixth-grade science and health teacher.

Moreover, he was named NWOAL Coach of the Year and District VII Coach of the Year in his 10-year coaching career.

However, in 2012, he gave up his head coaching job and joined as an Elementary Principal.

Tragically, Cory passed away in a car accident on January 3, 2013. He was driving on Airport Highway with his two daughters, Ally and Kendall.

Reports suggest he was heading to a dentist appointment when the accident occurred.

Ally, who was 9 years old at the time, suffered a minor brain injury and a broken ankle. Kendall, who was 6 years old, broke her pelvis and wrist.

Unfortunately, Cory never regained consciousness after the crash and passed away at the age of 38.

He became an through Life Connection of Ohio.

After the tragic demise of Cory, Tammy Sprow, Kendall’s mother, has been a pillar of support for her family.

Additionally, she has been actively promoting organ donation and has participated in events organized by Life Connection of Ohio.

Kendall often expressed gratitude to her mother for her support and encouragement throughout her career. She once said :

I actually didn’t want to play, My mom made me because I was too scared to play in front of people.

Recently, in an interview, Kendall Sprow spoke about her late father, Cory Sprow, with deep respect and admiration.

She mentioned that the feeling of losing her dad has never left her and that it still comes up a lot.

Reflecting on what her father would say about her and her team’s achievements, ,

I think he would say that he’s proud of us. Way to go all out all the time. He used to say that a lot. I think we’ve definitely done that so far.

Concerning her siblings, she has an elder sister named Ally, who prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
