James Dennis Alan Hamlin, an American NASCAR race car driver, recently got engaged to Jordan Fish on January 1, 2026, after almost two decades of togetherness.

Born on November 18, 1980, Denny began his racing career in 1988, when he was 7 and racing go-karts.

He drives the No.11 Toyota Camry XSE for in the and the No. 18 Toyota in the Nationwide Series.

Hamlin has won 54 races in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2006 and three Daytona 500 championships in 2016, 2019, and 2026.

He also co-founded the auto-racing organization with NBA player Michael Jordan.

Four years later, they gave birth to their second daughter, Molly Gold Hamlin, in 2017.

Jordan Fish is an entrepreneur who owns her clothing line, Bambinos.

Before starting her clothing line in August 2014, she worked with the NASCAR Media Group.

Born on October 27, 1987, she received her Bachelor’s degree in communication from East Carolina University in 2011.

She also worked as an NBA cheerleader for the Charlotte Hornets for a few years before meeting Denny.

Denny met Jordan while she was cheerleading when he attended a Hornets game in 2007.

Denny Hamlin was featured in the five episodes of the Netflix documentary series NASCAR: Full Speed, which premiered on January 30, 2026.

The five-part series focused on last year’s playoff, with 16 drivers going head-to-head in 10 races.

The Netflix series shows how the race car drivers and their teams compete for the championship and the chance to make history by winning the NASCAR Cup.

Along with on-track clips, the docuseries also shows snippets of players’ lives off-track.

Denny Hamlin directs challenges in the series as a racer and team owner, aiming for a NASCAR championship.

To help ensure that he was accurately portrayed in the docuseries, Hamlin said he made an effort to allow camera teams as much access to his life as possible.
