Business tycoon Chris Ilitch, president and CEO of Ilitich Holdings, has a hefty estimated net worth of $3.8 billion. He and Kelle Ilitch confirmed that their separation won’t impact the company’s operation or ownership.

As the leader of a family-owned business empire, Ilitch Holdings, Chris Ilitch oversees several prominent companies, including the Detroit Tigers (MLB), the Detroit Red Wings (NHL), Little Caesars Pizza, and MotorCity Casino Hotel.

Before joining his family’s business, he began his career at IBM. Thanks to his hands-on experience, he gained a deep understanding of management before making it big in the business world.

Later, Ilitch slowly worked his way up from initially managing a Little Caesars location to overseeing several stores in the Chicago area.

Ilitch’s legit leadership at Ilitch Holdings came in 2000, when he and his sister, Denise Ilitch, were named co-presidents of Ilitch Holdings.

Later, when Denise resigned in 2004, Chris Ilitch took over as the sole CEO. Eventually, under his leadership, Ilitch Holdings diversified its portfolio.

The drastic expansion in the company’s portfolio undoubtedly contributed to his hefty fortune.

Under his leadership, Ilitch Holdings, with its diverse range of businesses, has made a total combined revenue of $3.8 billion in 2018.

Similarly, the company’s total combined revenue reached $6.5 billion in recent years.

Owning iconic sports teams like Detriot Tigers and Red Wings, Ilitch Holdings generates gigantic revenue through ticket sales, merchandise, and broadcasting rights.

Likewise, Little Caesars as one of the largest pizza chains across the globe, Chris Ilitch has continued to expand his already substantial fortune.

Although Chris Ilitch’s Divorce Might Not Impact Ownership, It Could Have a Potential Negative Effect on His Net Worth!

Businessman recently filed for divorce from his wife of 23 years, Kelle Ilitch.

The longtime couple married in October 2001 in Dearborn and have three children: Olivia, Alex, and Victoria Ilitch.

Recently, Kelly and Chris Ilitch announced their decision to separate in a joint statement, which reads:

After thoughtful consideration, we will be transitioning into separate lives and do so with love, friendship, and a commitment to our children.

We will support each other in our new journey and continue to focus on family, friends, and community.  We have settled this matter, and it will have no impact on the ownership or operation of the Ilitch businesses.  We ask that you respect our privacy during this time.

Meanwhile, the divorce proceedings have been settled out of court, and both parties have agreed to support each other in their new journey.

Despite the divorce, Chris Ilitch has assured that the ownership and operation of Ilitch Holdings will not be affected. The businesses under the Ilitch umbrella, including Little Caesars Pizza and MotorCity Casino Hotel, continue to operate as usual.

While the couple has stated that the divorce will not impact the ownership or operation of their businesses, there are still potential financial implications to consider.

It necessarily doesn’t mean Kelle won’t receive any financial support. They might have agreed on a settlement that includes alimony or other financial arrangements; however, those details haven’t been publicly disclosed.

Meanwhile, fans and stakeholders are concerned about the potential impact on the financial health of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings.
