Dylan Disu hails from Pflugerville, Texas, where he was raised alongside his four siblings by his parents, Michelle and Rodney.
Dylan’s journey in basketball mirrors his mother’s athletic past, as Michelle was also a basketball player during her college years.
Following his mother’s footsteps, Dylan began his basketball career during his senior year at Hendrickson High School.

In February 2026, Dylan achieved career-highs of 29 points and 16 rebounds in a game against Kentucky before unfortunately suffering a knee injury that ended his season prematurely.
Despite the setback, Dylan’s talent shone through, and he continued to excel.
Later, Dylan decided to transfer to the University of Texas, describing it as his “dream school growing up.”
He graduated from Texas with a BA in Human Dimensions of Organizations in Spring 2026 and is currently in the Sport Management Graduate Program.

His father, Rodney Anderson, was a football player at Texas A&M University (now Texas A&M Kingsville).
At the same time, his mother showcased her talents in both basketball and volleyball at William Penn University in Iowa.
Despite having athletic roots from both sides, Dylan likely inherited his basketball skills from his mother, Michelle.

Michelle’s approach to training her son was strict and disciplined, but it ultimately proved to be beneficial for Dylan’s development as a basketball player.
After concluding her college sports career, Michelle shifted her focus to her professional endeavors.
She currently works as a Commercial Real Estate Agent at Beck Reit Commercial Real Estate and has served as the chief financial officer at Tribeshopatx since April 2026.
Additionally, she is a partner at Friedman Consulting, specializing in forensic accounting and litigation consulting.
On the other hand, Dylan’s father, Rodney, served as a Lieutenant at the Austin Independent School District police department. He served in the force for twenty-four years.
Dylan Disu Has Four Siblings
Dylan was raised in Texas along with four siblings. He has one older step-sister, Breonna Anderson, two younger twin sisters, Megan and Madison Disu, and one younger brother, Aidan Disu.
He has three younger siblings: Madison, Megan, and Aidan Disu, and an older stepsister named Breonna Anderson from his father’s previous relationship.
