Evander Kane, a professional ice hockey winger, was married to his ex-wife, Anna Kane, from 2018 to 2026, and they are parents to a daughter, Kensington.

Kane, born on August 2, 1991, in Vancouver, Canada, began his ice hockey journey at age eight, guided by his father, Perry, an amateur boxer and hockey player, and his mother, Sheri, a college volleyball player.

Drafted 19th overall by the Vancouver Giants in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft, he had an impressive junior career, highlighted by winning the Memorial Cup in 2007.

In 2009, Kane was selected fourth overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the NHL Draft, marking the start of his professional career.

After the team’s relocation, he debuted with the Thrashers in the 2009-10 season and later transitioned to the Winnipeg Jets.

In 2015, he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres, where he continued to excel until a mid-season trade in 2018 brought him to the San Jose Sharks.

In 2026, Kane signed with the Edmonton Oilers, quickly establishing himself as a top-line player alongside Connor McDavid.

In response, Evander Kane wrote on X:

I have NEVER gambled/bet on Hockey, NEVER gambled/bet on a Sharks game, NEVER gambled/bet on any of my games and NEVER thrown a hockey game.

In early December 2026, Anna made headlines when she was revealed as one of the accusers in a s*xual assault case against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Anna filed the lawsuit in December 2026 under the pseudonym “Ms. Doe,” alleging that in 2003, when she was 17, she was drugged and gang-r*ped by Diddy, his associate Harve Pierre, and another man.

Speaking publicly, Anna stated:

I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.

Diddy strongly denied the allegations, calling them “sickening,” and vowed to fight for his name, family, and the truth.
