Erin Andrews has been dealing with a health condition called dry eye disease (DED), a condition that affects an estimated 38 million Americans.
American sportscaster and television personality Erin Andrews is currently working with Fox Sports.
She has been a prominent sideline reporter for the NFL on Fox Sports since 2012.

In an interview with Athletech News, Andrews shared that she initially thought her symptoms were due to tired eyes from looking at screens too much.
However, her doctor diagnosed her with dry eye disease, explaining that her eyes were not producing enough tears. This led to the irritation and discomfort she was experiencing.
Regardless, Erin remains committed to her role and has found some relief through prescription eye drops.
Despite the recent dry eye disease battle, Erin will join the Super Bowl coverage. She has expressed her excitement about covering Super Bowl LIX.

Erin Andrews Is A Cervical Cancer Survivor!
Before her recent battle with dry eye disease, Erin Andrews faced a much more serious health challenge.
In 2016, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2016.
She underwent two major procedures to remove the cancer. The first was surgery to remove the cancerous cells, which took place 17 days after her diagnosis.
The second procedure was a follow-up to ensure all traces of the disease were removed. Luckily, she did not need radiation or chemotherapy.
Despite the ongoing treatment, she was back on the sidelines covering an NFL game just two days after the surgery.
Additionally, she was back on the job and covered an NFL game in Green Bay just 17 days after her surgery.
Her dedication and strength shone through as she balanced her treatment and work side by side and covered the Super Bowl that year.
I’m not watching any football games at home this year. This is our Super Bowl year, and I’m not missing the Super Bowl.
She didn’t miss a single game that season and kept her diagnosis confined to her family and close friends.
