Former Accomplished Athlete Mark Dobies Divorced With His Wife, Linda Hill, After 15 Years Of Marriage!

During their 15-year marriage, Mark and Linda raised three children, Francesca, Olivia, and Robert, and shared a family life.

Born on April 3, 1959, in Philadelphia, Mark Dobies initially pursued a career in sports before transitioning to acting.

He was a talented football player and earned an athletic scholarship to Delaware Valley University.

During his time there, he played as a free safety and contributed to his team’s victory in the Middle Atlantic Conference football championship in 1980.

He scored two defensive touchdowns during his collegiate career, showcasing his skills on the field.

Beyond football, Dobies was an avid athlete who competed in triathlons and offered personal training to others.

However, he later transitioned to acting, making his debut in the late 1990s.

Tragically, on March 11, 2026, at the age of 65, in Dunellen, New Jersey.

Mark Dobies Was A Loving Father To His Three Children Despite His Divorce From His Wife, Linda!

A passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, Mark Dobies was previously married to Linda Hill in 1993, but they divorced in 2008.

The couple had three children together: Francesca (27), Olivia (24), and Robert (21).

There is no publicly available information suggesting that he remarried or was in another relationship after his divorce.

Mark was remembered as a devoted father and was seen celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victories with his son, Robert.

He is survived by his three children, his mother, Suzanne, and his siblings, Paul and Sandy.

Mark Dobies was primarily known for his work in television, but he appeared in a few films.

He made his acting debut in 1997 with the drama series Fame L.A. and went on to guest-star in popular shows like Home Improvement, Melrose Place, CSI: Miami, and Gossip Girl.

His most notable roles were as Dr. Noah Chase in Guiding Light and District Attorney Daniel Colson in One Life to Live.
