Former athlete Doye Bryant’s death was announced by his son Nick Bryant through his Facebook handle.
Doye Bryant, born on July 10, 1959, in Jerome, Idaho, was a who played baseball with his brothers and relatives.
Bryant was a hard worker, a jack of all trades, and had a special talent for working with concrete. He spent his last three years in his man cave, enjoying woodworking.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family and relatives.
Idaho Resident Doye Bryant Passed Away At The Age Of 65
Doye Bryant, born to his father, Buddy Bryant, and his mother, Mary Bryant, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2026, at 65. However, the cause of death has not been mentioned.
His son, Nick Bryant, took his official handle and announced that his father, Doye, had left the world at 2:30 a.m. He wrote,

Jerome resident Beverly Meyers took to her Facebook handle, mourned the tragic loss of Doye, and sent prayers to his family. She wrote,

According to Doye’s family, his life will be celebrated on April 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 1100 Elks 93 Golf Ranch in Jerome, Idaho.

Doye Bryant Is Survived By His Wife, Mar Jean Schwab, And Their Six Children

They enjoyed spending time together playing sports, fishing, and hunting. For the last three years, Doye and Mar have been able to complete Doye’s wishlist.
The couple renewed their wedding vows, went for their second honeymoon in Lake Tahoe, watched a celebrity golf tournament, attended a Kansas City Chiefs game, and rode a steam train to the Grand Canyon.
Sadly, their married life ended after 18 years following the tragic death of Doye.
They had three sons: Travis, Nick, and Keith Bryant. Doye also had three stepchildren: Wendy Haight, Marty Pallas, and Jessie Pallas, from Mar’s previous relationship.
Their lives in Rupert, Idaho, with his wife Edna Webster, who attended Minco High School.
Currently, they are mourning the tragic death of their supportive and devoted father, Doye Bryant.
