Retired NBA player Andre Iguodala and his wife, Christina Gutierrez, met at the Lanphier High School in Springfield, Illinois.

Childhood sweethearts and Christina Gutierrez have a one-of-a-kind love story that ignited early on in their lives as they had known each other for a long time.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Andre Iguodala Jr., in 2007, eight years before they exchanged the wedding vows.

Andre Iguodala walked down the aisle with Christina Gutierrez in the summer of 2015 in Cabo San Lucas.

The summer of 2015 was particularly unforgettable for Andre as not only did he tie the knot with his girl, but he bagged the NBA Title, earning the Finals MVP award.

The couple shared their first dance at the star-studded wedding ceremony attended by Iguodala’s teammates , , Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, and others.

However, besides his beautiful love story with Christina, Andre has his own fair share of previous straining relationships.

Before their marriage, Iguodala was in a relationship with Clayanna Warthen, with whom he shares a daughter.

Andre Iguodala and Clayanna Warthen started their relationship in October 2004. Their romantic relationship lasted until January 2009.

During the 5 years of their relationship, the former couple welcomed a daughter, London Iguodala, on May 7, 2009.

Regardless of the seemingly sound relationship at the beginning, their relationship faced several challenges, especially surrounding child support and custody issues.

Clayanna Warthen reportedly filed a lawsuit against Andre Iguodala in 2009 to seek child support for their daughter. She successfully grabbed $16,000 monthly support from the basketball player.

Whereas she filed another lawsuit in 2016, seeking an increase in the child support amount. She wanted to increase child support from $16,000 to $58,000 per month.

Despite the legal battles, Clayanna has mostly stayed away from the media and focused on raising her daughter.

Likewise, rumors had it that Iguodala and Christina were already dating and even had their son while he was still involved with Clayanna Warthen. However, these claims remain unascertained.
