Daniel Koppen, a celebrated name in the NFL, has been married to Amber Koppen for more than 15 years.
He is best known for his remarkable career as a center for the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
He had a notable NFL career, primarily with the New England Patriots, where he was drafted in the fifth round in 2003.
Initially a backup to Damien Woody, he became the Patriots’ starting center and played a crucial role in two Super Bowl victories (XXXVIII and XXXIX).
Over his tenure with the Patriots (2003-2011), Koppen established himself as a reliable center, making the Pro Bowl in 2008 and being named to the Patriots’ All-Decade team for the 2000s.
Dan was particularly known for his durability, starting all 16 games in multiple seasons, and his excellence in pass protection, including a 2009 season where his offensive line allowed just 18 sacks.
After suffering an ankle injury in 2011 and being released by the Patriots in 2012, he joined the Broncos for his final two seasons before retiring in 2013.
Notably, Koppen holds the distinction of being possibly the only NFL center to have snapped to both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, two of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history.
