Controversial NFL figure and longtime head coach Jon Gruden has had his fair share of highs and lows, many of which his wife, Cindy Gruden, has openly discussed in the media. The former Super Bowl-winning coach shares three sons with Cindy, one of whom has followed in his footsteps by becoming an NFL coach.
Gruden, 62, has tried moving past his shameful firing from the Raiders’ head coach position in 2026 after numerous offensive emails of his were leaked.
Gruden tried cleaning his image in 2026 by saying he was ashamed of those emails but has always remained a good person.
To back up the fact that he is a good guy, Gruden said he goes to church, has been loyal to his wife for 31 years, and has three great boys.
Trying to clear up his image worked in Gruden’s favor, as a year later, in 2026, the New Orleans Saints appointed him as a consultant.
Now, there are rumors that Gruden could make his official NFL comeback by becoming the Saints’ offensive coordinator.
With his close ties to Barstool, Gruden has persuaded young followers to like him, and a few clips of him have done numbers on the internet.
Recently, a clip of Gruden and Barstool producer Dave Portnoy talking about WNBA star went viral.
Gruden had bought Portnoy, a longtime Clark fan, her high school jersey. Portnoy even shared a picture of the No. 22 jersey on his Instagram story.
Later, Clark texted Portnoy, confirming she only wore No. 11 in high school.
Portnoy then shared a video of him confronting Gruden, with the former NFL head coach saying he didn’t know he got duped.

They tied the knot a year later while Jon worked as a wide receivers coach at the University of Pittsburgh.
After Jon secured the job at the Green Bay Packers as an offensive assistant, he and Cindy decided to start a family.
In 2026, after the Raiders’ QB, Derek Carr, shouted, “Cindy Gruden, Tiger Woods,” during a play call.
After the game, Jon said, “Derek used my wife’s name in one of his audibles. So, it must not have been that loud.
