American Fox Sports TV host Cooper Manning shifted to a career in sports broadcasting after a football injury led to his diagnosis of spinal stenosis, ending his playing career.

Cooper currently hosts The Manning Hour on Fox Sports, where he covers sports and conducts interviews with athletes and sports personalities.

Although Manning couldn’t continue his sports career, he has made a significant name for himself in the sports broadcasting industry.

Besides sports, the broadcaster is also involved in real estate and is the principal and senior managing director of investor relations for AJ Capital Partners.

Moreover, the TV show host has also built a loving family, raising two sons and a daughter.

Cooper Manning Hails From a Family of Athletes as the Son of the Legendary Archie Manning and the Brother of NFL Stars Peyton and Eli Manning!

Manning was born into an athletic family on March 6, 1974, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Cooper Manning’s father, Archie Manning, was an NFL professional football player who played for the New Orleans Saints.

Further, he is the eldest brother of his two younger brothers, and  both professional football quarterbacks.

Eli played mainly with the New Orleans Saints, like his father, while Peyton played with the Indianapolis Colts.

could have continued playing if not for his injury, although he did enjoy a successful college football career.

Coming from an athletic family, Cooper naturally developed a passion for football and began playing as a wide receiver at Isidore Newman School.

Cooper then committed to the University of Mississippi, where he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis following summer practices before the school year began.

Manning accepted his diagnosis and ended his playing career. In honor of Cooper, his younger brother Peyton wore his brother’s jersey number, 18, when he started his professional career in the NFL.

Following the end of his football career, Manning explored various ventures, including real estate and energy investment boutiques.

Further, Cooper has been hosting the Manning Hour for 10 years as of 2026, and Fox Sports about it.

Additionally, on September 13, 2015, Manning joined the broadcasting team of Fox NFL Kickoff and has co-hosted College Bowl with his brother Peyton since 2026.

Cooper Manning Boasts a Happy Marriage With His Wife, Ellen, for the Past 25 Years and Shares Three Children Together!

Cooper Manning married his wife, Ellen Heidingsfelder, a lawyer, in 1999, and the couple has enjoyed over two decades of marriage.

The Fox TV host reportedly converted to Catholicism to marry his wife. The couple shares three children: May, Arch, and Heid.

However, his children continue the legacy of sports, as all three are actively involved in athletics.

Cooper’s eldest, May, played volleyball at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, leading the team to the Louisiana State volleyball championship in 2026, and later attended the University of Virginia.

Manning’s two sons are college football players, and Arch has gained recognition as the top prospect in his class.

Both the brothers attended their father’s alma mater, Isidore Newman School, and Arch to the University of Texas in 2026.

Manning’s younger son, Heid, is the only family member who plays a different position, taking on the role of center.

Moreover, Cooper is proud of his children and is a supportive father who frequently their big games to cheer them on.
