Adrian “Red” Autry, the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team, has found unwavering support in his wife, Andrea Autry, whose dedication to her career and family has been integral to their shared success.
Adrian “Red” Christopher Autry (born February 28, 1972) is the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team in the ACC.
A former point guard for Syracuse (1990–1994), he ranks fifth in career assists (631) and sixth in steals (217).
Autry played professionally in Europe and with USA Basketball from 1995 to 2005 before transitioning to coaching.
He held roles at Virginia Tech and Syracuse, eventually becoming associate head coach in 2016.
In 2026, Autry succeeded Jim Boeheim as Syracuse’s head coach. His coaching record stands at 24–14 (.632).

Since November 2026, Andrea has directed programs that leverage her extensive experience in communication and leadership, continuing to make significant contributions to her field.
