In his first game as a Westland player in August 2026, Kentrell rushed for 102 yards and scored a touchdown in a 42-0 win over Centennial.
His coach, Trent Williamson even praised Kentrell saying he is a good leader for the team and has a winning mindset.
Before transferring to Westland in 2026, Kentrell had become a star player at Ready, totaling 3,003 all-purpose yards and making 46 touchdowns in the final season.
He led his former side to a 10-2 regular season victory and won one playoff game.

Later that day, the original poster informed everyone in the comment section that Kentrell had been found.
The user wrote, “UPDATE HE WAS FOUND no other information available.”
The footballing talent isn’t big on using social media and the last he shared any update about himself was on November 10, 2026, on (formerly Twitter).
He had tweeted, “NC State is home.”
Kentrell Rinehart On Why He Didn’t Sign His NIL With NC State
The three-star recruit had already announced his commitment to NC State in July 2026. But come December, the running back didn’t sign his NIL deal.
According to Greg Smith of Rivals, Rinehart was evaluating his options. The news was later shared on NC State news website Pack Insider.
Despite writing, “NC State is home,” on his X page, Rinehart had a change of heart in a month.
Before his verbal commitment to NC State in July, the youngster had received several offers, including one from Syracuse, Iowa, Miami, Minnesota, and Missouri.
