The couple first crossed paths at the University of Iowa, and as basketball players themselves, they grew closer naturally and started dating.

Connor’s behavior came across as dismissive of his girlfriend’s achievements, with fans interpreting it as light trolling of her accomplishments.
The comment might have been intended to be humorous and supportive by playfully suggesting that listing her accomplishments doesn’t do justice to her full potential.
