A professional basketball player, Jonathan Kuminga, has an elder brother named Joel Ntambwe, who is also into basketball. 

Jonathan shares a beautiful bond with his brother Joel, a rising name in basketball. He remained a university athlete who tried his best as a basketball player.

However, Joel couldn’t make it to a prosperous career, leading his break from his game career now.

(born on October 6, 2002) is a famous basketball player from Congo who plays for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

He became a top player, famous as one of the best small forwards in his class of 2026.

Instead of going to college, the sportsman entered the NBA early by moving up a year and joining the NBA G League Ignite after finishing high school at The Patrick School in New Jersey.

Likewise, the Warriors picked him as the seventh player overall in the 2026 NBA draft, and he had a great first season, helping his team win the NBA championship.

In August 2026, Jonathan played for the DR Congo national basketball team in the African 2026 World Cup qualifiers, playing alongside his elder brother, Joel Ntambwe, and scoring 18 points against Cameroon.

Maintaining a low-key profile, Joel barely talks about his matters in public. He has even kept his social media accounts private.

Previously, Ntambwe for the Runnin’ Rebels team in 2018-19, marking his first season with them. He graduated from Aspire Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2018.

During his senior year, the basketball player showed his skills, scoring an average of 13.3 points per game with a shooting accuracy of 48.3 percent. He also grabbed 6.4 rebounds, made 3.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

Before joining the Runnin’ Rebels, Jonathan’s brother spent four years in the United States. 

Later, the sportsman went to The Ogburn School in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He played for the Nike New York Rens U17 club team and even played soccer. He received a three-star rating as a recruit.
