Jon Wickizer, a former standout basketball player for Utah State University, bravely battled mental illness for many years with the support of his wife and children.
He played for the Aggies from 1993 to 1996 and made a significant impact during his time there.
Standing at 6’8″, Wickizer was known for his impressive shooting skills. During his junior year, he led the team to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
As a senior in 1995-96, he started all 33 games, averaging 8.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game and shooting 39.4% from three-point range.
