There is speculation that Kyle Kennedy, Aaron Hernandez’s alleged prison lover, passed away on January 29, 2026.

Aaron Hernandez, the former NFL player, from an apparent suicide.

There were reports and speculations about a possible romantic relationship between Hernandez and Kyle Kennedy, who was also in prison at the time.

Kyle Kennedy was released from prison in 2019 and since then he maintained privacy keeping a low profile.

However, out of nowhere, social media has recently been buzzing with news of Kyle’s death.

Some reports claim that on January 29. When he died he was repotedly living with a woman whose name is not revealed yet.

However, this news has not been officially confirmed, so we should wait for an official announcement before relying on these reports.

In a documentary titled ““, Kennedy revealed that their relationship was more than just physical.

He mentioned that Hernandez used to tell him he wanted to marry him and that they would write letters to each other frequently, saying:

We used to write letters back and forth to each other all day. We sold drugs every day, we did drugs every day.

Kennedy also shared that Hernandez grew increasingly paranoid about his future while in prison.

Moreover, he has consistently maintained that their relationship was genuine and that he deserves to be recognized for it.

After Aaron Hernandez’s death, Kyle Kennedy, who was known in prison as “Pure”, expressed deep sadness and shock.

He mentioned that he believed one of the suicide notes left by Hernandez was intended for him, although he had not seen it.

Also, he has requested to see the suicide note that Hernandez allegedly wrote to him.

However, Hernandez’s lawyer denied these claims, stating that the third suicide letter was not addressed to Kennedy.

One letter was addressed to his daughter, Avielle Jenkins-Hernandez where he wrote about life being eternal and expressed his love for her.

Another letter was written to his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, whom he referred to as his soul-mate and reassured her of his love, urging her to love life.

Similarly, the third letter was addressed to his attorney, Jose Baez, thanking him for his support and expressing his appreciation.

On the other hand, Kyle was reportedly placed in solitary confinement shortly before Hernandez’s death.

Kennedy’s lawyer revealed parts of a letter from Hernandez to Kennedy’s father, which hinted at Hernandez’s intention to commit suicide.
