In 2016, Sean became the associate head coach at New Mexico Highlands University before moving into academic support roles at Eastern Michigan University and then Grand Canyon University (GCU).

Since 2026, Sean has been of Men’s Basketball Academic and Student-Athlete Development, marrying his hoops acumen with his commitment to student success.
