Born to Delores A. Ruse Pelanada on June 20, 1960, Dale R. Ditman grew up with his sister Pam Samuel Saffer and brother Norman Ditman.

After graduating from Austintown Fitch High School in 1979, he was actively involved in several jobs and projects. He owned and operated Dale’s Amoco in Hubbard for one and a half decades.

Per Tributes.com, Dale also worked as a supervisor at IAC for many years and served as a volunteer firefighter for 21 years at the Hubbard Joint Eagle Fire District.

In addition to volunteering at the fire department, he was also a member of the Trumbull County DMAT Team and Metro Arson Task Force.

His two daughters, Shelby (Mathew) Ezzo and Tiffany (Dan) Moffitt, alongside his grandchildren Riley Cadt and Garett, & his brother, sister, and niece, Kimberly Shaffer of East Liverpool.

Post his d*ath, his daughter Shelby expressed her gratitude to Traditions Health Hospice’s staff for the generosity that they showed toward her later father and other family members over the years.

Well, according to his obituary, there will be ‘calling hours or services‘ in the demise of the now-late Dale R. Dittman, and this was due to his last wish.

Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home has taken responsibility for his funeral arrangement. TV channels like FOX, WKBN, and WYTV will pay tribute to the late Hubbard volleyball star, Dale R. Ditman.
