Before his appointment at the University of Miami in 2026, he was the athletic director at American University, Georgia Tech, and Clemson University.

However, Marcie has indulged in numerous charitable and community activities tied to the universities where her husband has served.

Dan and his wife have contributed to student-athlete scholarships such as the Dan and Marcie Radakovich Football Scholarship at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Beyond their partnership in charity and philanthropic endeavors, the couple is the parents of two brilliant boys, Christian and Grant.

While Christian graduated from Georgia Tech in 2012, Grant graduated from Mercer in 2015 and played transfer tight end for Clemson’s 2016 national championship football team.

Despite her low profile, Marcie has made significant efforts to cultivate community within the sporting programs her husband supervises.

According to Marcie’s LinkedIn page, she earned a BSBA in Management from the University of Florida- Warrington College of Business in 1979.

After 24 years of graduation, she worked as the Director of Outside Sales at ASD Healthcare.

However, Marcie appears to have a strong desire to learn, as seen by her studies in landscape design and horticulture at Chattahoochee Tech’s North Metro Campus.

Besides being a supportive wife, she has established herself as a master gardener and certified beekeeper.

Moreover, she is a multi-talented lady with many skills like marketing, forecasting, customer service, marketing strategy, sales management, and account management.

Her academic prowess and career endeavors seamlessly blend with her strong partnership with her husband.

Similarly, their sons’ successes demonstrate the couple’s successful parenting.

While many specifics regarding their marriage remain unknown, Marcie may been more active in caring for the children due to Dan’s rigorous work.
