Mike remembers the day as one of the most traumatic experiences of his life. Thankfully, he had his ever-supportive wife, Rosanne, to carry him through the tragedy.

“It’s hard to process because you’re a little bit in a state of shock as you look at it and there’s nothing left. There’s just, it’s all gone.”

Most importantly, his family being safe was a reminder of the value of life with his wife by his side.

Mike and Rosanne have been blessed with three children: Michael, Nicole, and Matt. A sporting family to its core, Nicole played basketball in her formative years.

Following in the footsteps of her father, Nicole is also involved in the NBA. She has held various positions at the Youth Development Program of the league.
