Flint Davis, a Georgia angler, was involved in a multi-vessel boat crash during the Major League Fishing (MLF) Tackle Warehouse Invitational tournament on Smith Lake, Alabama.

The accident occurred on April 16, 2026, in the Burr’s Island area, outside the mouth of Miller Bottoms.

The crash resulted in one fatality, identified as 58-year-old Joey Broom from Altoona, Alabama.
