Morrilton High School And Central Arkansas Mourn Tragic Loss Of Student-Athlete CJ Clemons, His Sister Nel’Taiyah Green & Mother Tyeasha Deshun Green

CJ Clemons, a student-athlete at Morrilton High School, lost his life in a car accident at the young age of 17.
According , the tragic car accident took place on Interstate 40 near the 31 westbound mile marker in Franklin County at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, which claimed the lives of CJ Clemons, his mother, Tyeasha Deshun Green, and his younger sister Nel’Taiyah Green.
Arkansas State Police said that CJ’s mother, 44-year-old Tyeasha Deshun Green, a native of Conway, was driving a 2019 Nissan Versa when the Vehicle exited the roadway to the south and traveled a short distance west in the median.
The report stated that she struck a bridge wall, causing the car to land in a creek bed on its top on the south side of the roadway.
State troopers stated that the car was found on Monday, February 3, 2026.
Friends said they last heard from CJ and his family on Friday night after a Devil Dog Basketball game in Morrilton when they left to attend a cheer event in Tulsa.
Concern for CJ Clemons and his family began after they did not arrive in Tulsa.
CJ Clemons was a junior at Morrilton High School and played varsity basketball with the Devil Dogs, and his younger sister, eight-year-old Nel’ Taiyah Green, was a second-grader at Southwest Christian Academy.

The whole Central Arkansas community mourns the tragic loss of CJ Clemons and his family.
The Morrilton Basketball team took to their officialto express their sorrow and appreciate CJ’s contribution to their team.
They wrote,
“It is with great sadness that MBB mourns the loss of one of our own! We’re deeply saddened, yet extremely grateful at the same time, that The Lord saw fit, for, a small season, to grace/bless us with CJ’S infectious smile and grit that exemplifies who we want kids to be.”
Morrilton High further added that the whole Clemons family was amazing and will always be remembered for their kind and humble nature.
Similarly, CJ’s former school, Mayflower, where he was an exceptional football player with the Eagles, also expressed their sorrow on the tragic demise of Clemons, his mother, and his sister.
They requested that everyone keep CJ’s family in their thoughts and prayers, especially his brother Jamar Anderson, a former Eagles football player.
Similarly, the Clinton YellowJacket Basketball Conference game against the Heber Springs Panthers paid respect to Morrilton Basketball star #3 CJ Clemons and his family by each taking a lane violation after tip-off.
Mayflower High School and Pulaski Academy Athletics also honored CJ and his family.
