Bill Elliott, one of the most iconic figures in NASCAR history, has been married to his Cindy Elliott since 1992, following his divorce from his high school sweetheart, Martha, in 1990.

Bill Elliott, also known as “Awesome Bill from Dawsonville,” is a retired American NASCAR driver with an illustrious career.

He won the 1988 Winston Cup Championship and secured 44 wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, including two Daytona 500 victories (1985 and 1987).

Elliott also achieved notable wins in the Southern 500, Brickyard 400, and the Winston 500, with a record 11 superspeedway wins in 1985.

Elliott set track records for the fastest qualifying speeds at Talladega and Daytona.

In 1985, he won the Winston Million by capturing three out of the four major NASCAR races.

Elliott was named NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver 16 times and was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2015.
