Former New York Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer met Emely Palmer at a boxing class. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on January 8, 2026.

Palmer, 47, didn’t have a memorable career as an NFL player.

Today, he is mostly known for his hosting skills, having worked for shows like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

The Canadian TV personality received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in 1997.

In his four seasons with the Gators, Palmer completed 3755 passing yards and won the Fergie Ferguson Award in his senior season.

The Giants drafted the quarterback in the fourth round of the 2001 NBA Draft.

After a not-so-inspiring four-year stint with the Giants, Palmer was cut off from the team before the start of the 2005 season.

But even before he left the NFL, Palmer had already started focusing on his television career.

He appeared on The Bachelor in 2004, and Palmer felt like a natural fit in the TV.

Palmer reportedly presented his girlfriend with a stunning 3.5-carat diamond ring.

The former NFL quarterback even hired Emely’s favorite wedding photographer for the big proposal.

A year after the proposal, Jesse and Emely tied the knot secretly on June 5, 2026.

Speaking to about why they kept their wedding a secret, The Bachelor host said it was due to COVID restrictions.

They tied the knot at a close friend’s house and had to cancel their initial plans to wed in Provence, France.

But two years after their wedding, in July 2026, the couple traveled to France and exchanged their vows at Château De La Gaude, a luxury hotel in Aix-en-Provence, France.

On August 19, 2026, the they were expecting a baby girl in January 2026.
