When the NHL star is not playing his games, he often spends time with his longtime partner, now wife, Stephanie LaChance.
Mitch Marner and his wife, Stephanie LaChance, are one of the NHL’s cutest couples. The couple has been together since they were teens.
Moreover, the couple have known each other since elementary school in Markham, Ontario.
Both natives of Markham, Ontario, their connection flourished as they grew up together in the same community, eventually leading to their romantic involvement.
Although Mitch and Stephanie have known each other since elementary school, they began their romantic relationship in 2015 and have been together since.
According , they reconnected when Marner messaged Stephanie on her 19th birthday while she was attending Western University and he was playing hockey for the London Knights.

Mitch Marner’s NHL journey began with the beginning of their romantic relationship. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Marner in the 2015 NHL entry draft, and he signed a three-year entry-level contract on July 28, 2015.

After six years of being in a happy relationship, Mitch Marner proposed to Stephanie LaChance at their Muskoka cottage, surrounded by their family.

According , the couple’s wedding spanned a weekend, beginning with a rehearsal dinner at Two Sisters Vineyards. The ceremony took place at Riverbend Inn, where the couple married under a floral arch designed by Rachel A. Clingen.
Similarly, the reception was held in a custom-designed tent at Peller Estates, featuring decor that combined modern garden aesthetics with interior design elements.
Despite being the wife of a renowned NHL star, Stephanie prefers to maintain a low profile. However, Mitch often shares glimpses of their romantic life on his social media.
Stephanie was born to her mother, Nancy Morrow LaChance, and her father, Peter LaChance.
Her father, Peter, is the owner of Chance Ringetter, a manufacturing and sales compay that custom ringette sticks located in Whitby, Ontario. He has been owning the business since September 2008.
Prior to that Stephanie’s father Peter worked as the account executive of ACL, Eastern Territory Sales Manager of Almag Aluminum and Advanced System Engineer of EDS Canada.
Peter earned his bachelor’s in computer science and mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.
Stephanie also has two siblings: an elder sister named Rachel LaChance and a younger brother.
