American basketball point guard Jalen Suggs’s father, Larry Suggs, is a former accomplished local athlete.
Jalen Suggs recently went to Birmingham on Monday, March 31, 2026, to support his rumored girlfriend Hailey Van Lith, who plays for the TCU Horned Frogs women’s basketball team.
He went viral after ESPN posted a where Suggs showed Van Lith’s No. 10 jersey. In the video, he said,
“You know how I’m repping, you know who I’m supporting,” “Best time to be a basketball fan, I’m locked in with TCU tonight.”
While Van Lith and Jalen have never confirmed their relationship, they have been linked since 2026 when Suggs posted a picture of them together ahead of him being drafted No. 5 overall by the Magic.
Suggs attending Hailey Van Lith’s basketball games frequently has made fans think they’re dating.

Jalen Suggs, 24, was born on June 3, 2001, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to his father, Larry Suggs, and mother, Molly Manley.
Although Jalen and his parents live in the United States, their ancestors had a deep-rooted history with African heritage.
Therefore, Jalen’s family holds American nationality and African-American ethnicity.
In 2026, Larry and Molly made from Minneapolis to Indianapolis, driving for eight and a half hours to watch their son Jalen play at the NCAA tournament.

That part has slowed down, For the most part, he’s all ready to be a Zag.”
On the other hand, Jalen’s mother, Molly Manley, was , Michael Edward Manley, a long-time auto mechanic and 30-year State Fair Parking employee.
Sadly, Michael, a graduate of Cretin High School passed away on September 6, 2017, at 60.
Molly wished Jalen a happy 16th birthday through her handle on June 3, 2016. She wrote,

On April 4, 2026, Molly Manley took to her official Twitter handle and posted a video in which Jalen scored 3 points against the UCLA Bruins and secured a 90-93 victory. She captioned,

Jalen Suggs grew up playing basketball with his two younger sisters, Jennica and Jaelle Suggs.
Jaelle Suggs plays basketball as a small forward for the Southeastern Prep Academy Varsity basketball team.
Standing at 5 feet 9 inches, she of 15 with a record of 17-12 during her sophomore season.
On the other hand, Jennica Suggs plays basketball for Central Florida Christian Academy .
Standing at 5 feet 11 inches, she scored a career-high point of 2.3 with 0.6 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.7 steals.
Jennica and Jaelle have also supported their brother Jalen in achieving his basketball dreams.
