Tyler Warren, an American football tight end for the Penn State Nittany Lions, has the constant support of his parents through all his ups and downs.
The NCAA star was born in Mechanicsville, Virginia, United States, to father Terry Warren and mother Sandy Warren.

Recently, in the college football playoff quarterfinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on December 31, 2026, Tyler Warren played a crucial role in Penn State’s victory of 31-14 over Boise State Broncos.
He also set a new Big Ten record for the most receptions by a tight end in a single season and has broken several Penn State records for tight ends, including career receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.

Inspired by his athletic parents, Terry and Sandy, Tyler Warren began his football journey at a very young age.
His parents are former players; his father, Terry Warren, played football in Richmond from 1987 to 1990, whereas his mother played football in high school.
Tyler Warren’s father, Terry, currently serves as a senior vice president of AblePay Health. He earned a bachelor’s degree in health and sports science.
Before that, Terry was the vice president of Change Healthcare and a Sales Executive at VisitPay.
However, very little information about his mother Sandy’s profession is available as she prefers to maintain a private life.
In addition to his parents, Tyler’s grandfather, Steve Warren, played football at Wake Forest University, and his grandmother, Julia Warren, played basketball at Carson-Newman University.
His aunt, Tracey George, played soccer at the University of Delaware. Similarly, his sister, Kelly Warren, played softball at East Tennessee State.
In her senior year, Kelly appeared and started in 55 games for the Blue and Gold, recording 45 hits with a team-high 23 runs scored.
Tyler Warren’s elder brother, TJ Warren, graduated from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business with a BSBA in Risk Management and Insurance.
TJ Warren is currently Marsh’s vice president of transactional risk practice; he has been working with Marsh for over 5 years.
Before that, TJ served as a Member Advocate of Pure Group of Insurance Companies and as a Summer Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo.
