Porter HS Track And Athlete Jaelynn Stewart Passed Away, Leaving Her Family Behind

Jaelynn B. Stewart, 25, tragically passed away in a car accident in the New Caney area in Montogomery County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Stewart had departed from her residence on Hwy 242 in the Northcrest Subdivision.

Upon reaching Mossy Oaks, in time for an eastbound pickup truck, which struck her vehicle on the driver’s side.

Despite the courageous efforts of first responders to save her, she passed away from her injuries at the scene.

Jaelynn Stewart Was A Dedicated Athlete And Student!

Jaelynn was a talented athlete known for her achievements in track and field, particularly in events like the hammer throw and shot put.

She and had notable performances during the 2026 season.

Her personal best includes 12.97 meters in shotput and 41.14 meters in the hammer throw.

Her achievements include securing second place in discus at the 21-5A and 22-5A area championships. Standing 5’7″, she earned a send-off to the State Track Meet in Austin.

An exceptional athlete, Jaelynn showcased her talent and dedication in multiple sports.

From her freshman year onward, she was a Varsity member in both track and basketball.

She also played volleyball in junior varsity for three years, where she was honored as team captain for two consecutive years.

During her junior year, Jaelynn was promoted to Varsity volleyball and proudly advanced to playoffs with her team.

Beyond her talent in the field, she was a dedicated student in her class.

She was a member of her school’s National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).

Jaelynn’s Loss Left Her Family And Loved Ones In Deep Mourning!

Jaelynn Stewart’s passing deeply affected her community, friends, and well-wishers.

According to one of her close friends, Jaelynn Stewart was an extraordinary individual who embodied both inner and outer beauty.

She was on the verge of and had served as an intern at a clinic.

Many expressed their grief and shared heartfelt tributes, saying:

This is so heart breaking. Everytime I see posts like this it truly hurts my heart so much. Only God knows why. May God be with her family and friends every step of the way.

Her teammates and friends remembered her as a source of inspiration and said:

Rest in peace sweet angel. she was always so kind and goofy. Full of energy and was always so fun to be around. Always inclusive and never let anybody feel left out. I still remember her cute smile and laugh even if we were not close. You were just always happy around her and felt comfortable. Shes gorgeous with an incredibly amazing personality and energy. Never gave up and always kept going. Rest in peace beautiful.

Community members emphasized her legacy as a role model, both in academics and athletics, and mourned the loss of such a promising individual.
