Tony Romo’s wife Candice Crawford was working as a sports broadcaster and interning at KDAF TV station in Dallas, covering high school sports and the Dallas Cowboys, when she met him.

Tony Romo played NFL for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 13-season career from 2003 to 2016.

After retiring from football due to a back injury in 2017, Romo transitioned to broadcasting and became a lead color analyst for CBS Sports’ NFL telecasts.

Recently, Romo has faced some criticism regarding his commentary during NFL games, particularly his call during a recent Super Bowl-winning touchdown by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fans felt that he “ruined the moment” by talking too much instead of letting the atmosphere speak for itself.

Tony And Candice Are Proud Parents To Their Three Sons!

is married to Candice Crawford, a former beauty queen and sports journalist.

Candice Crawford is known for winning the Miss Missouri USA title in 2008 and for her work in sports journalism, which includes covering the Dallas Cowboys.

She was born to parents, Chris, a dermatologist and Dana Crawford, a teacher.

Moreover, she has one sibling, her older brother Chace Crawford. Chace is well-known for his role as Nate Archibald in the popular TV series Gossip Girl.

While concerned about her education, she graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2005.

Then, she attended the University of Missouri and pursued a degree in broadcasting journalism.

Now, regarding their realtionship timeline, Tony and Candice met in 2009 when Candice was working as an intern at the TV station, KDAF, in Dallas.

Candice Crawford’s parents were big Dallas Cowboys fans. In fact, having Tony Romo, a former star quarterback for the Cowboys, join their family was quite special for them.

It seems they were indeed very happy when Candice and Tony started dating.

After dating for a year, they got engaged in 2010. Then, the beloved couple tied the knot on May 28, 2011, on a beautiful ceremony at Arlington Hall at Lee Park in Dallas.

As for their children, Tony and Candice have three sons: Hawkins Crawford Romo, born on April 9, 2012; Rivers Romo, born on March 18, 2014; and Jones McCoy Romo, born on August 23, 2017.

Former QB frequently shares glimpses into his family life and his wife and kids on social media.

In an , Tony highlighted the contribution of his wife, saying:

If you get a great wife who understands the demands of someone in athletics, I think that’s important, I was lucky enough to find someone like that.

Romo also mentioned how having children strengthened their family values and love for each other.

Candice, on her part, shared how much she enjoys being a ‘boy mom’ and staying active with their sons.
