Sara Moreno | Early Life, Family, and Education 

Moreno grabbed interest in the sport after consulting with her doctor. Because she had large feet, the doctor advised her to attempt gymnastics or dancing. As a result, she chose gymnastics instead of ballet dancing.

In addition, Moncada, Spain, has a gymnastics academy. On the other hand, her coach eventually chose an aerobics squad for her.

Sara’s father’s name is Jose A. Moreno, and her mother’s name is Angelica. Moreover, the athlete is her parents’ only child. Also, the athlete lives with a Yorkshire Terrier dog.

The Spanish Gymnast Sara earned a Master’s degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in 2012 and is currently trying to pursue Ph.D. She has previously worked with the Moncada Sports Foundation for the past year and a half.

Additionally, in 2003, she won the European Championship. She also joined Aerobic Gymnastics in 2002. Sara has been a member of the Spanish national squad since 2004, and she trains at her hometown’s Moncada Aerobic Club.

She, too, competed in her first national championship in 2004 and had already qualified for the Junior World Cup in Paris at the age of 14.

Rise to Fame 

The Spanish gymnast confesses that the move from subordinate to supervisor was tough for her, and it took two years for her to adjust. She soon competed with the gymnasts she looked up to as role models.

Finally, in Elvas, Portugal, she competed in a new European championship. Sara Moreno had her best competition experience in Cali because of the crowd.

There were maybe eighteen thousand people in the audience, and it was her first time performing in front of such a large crowd. She thought a challenge like that would be the best thing that could ever happen to a gymnast.

Furthermore, at the age of twenty-six, she was highlighting success.

Three world championships (one in solo and two in combination), European champion, World Games champion as a pair, and runner-up in solo. She finished first as a pair at the European Games in Baku.

Sara Moreno won the competition with 21,500 points, defeating Austrian Lubov Gazov (21,450) and Hungarian Dora Hegyi in a match that featured 36 gymnasts from around Europe.

Moreno also competed in the European Championships in 2011 when she was only twelve years old. Sara and her partner Vicente Lli also finished sixth in the final of the paired competition.

Moreover, two Valencian gymnasts, Sara Moreno and Vicente Ll have taken Aerobic gymnastics to new heights throughout their years of competition.

She has two World Championships, two European Championships, and 11 Spanish Championships to her credit. They had also built a name for themselves as a gymnastics duo, winning nearly all competitions that year.

They also notched three World Championships, two European Championships, and nine Spanish Championships.

The gymnast was injured in 2013, and it took a long time for her to recover. However, in Cali and even at the European Championships that year, she achieved the best results.
