Six-time Olympic champion Chris Hoy and his wife, Sarra Kemp, have been together for 14 years and have two children.

Chris Hoy and Sarra Kemp met during a night out in 2006. After several years of dating, they in 2010 at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.

Chris Hoy and Sarra have two children, a son named Callum and a daughter named Chloe, both of whom were born amidst complications.

According to , in 2014, Callum was born 11 weeks premature and required hospitalization, while Chloe was born three weeks early.

Further, Sir Hoy shared that he had been undergoing chemotherapy, which had been progressing well and showed his positive outlook towards recovery.

However, after eight months of announcing his cancer and improvements, Chris has revealed that he has terminal cancer.

In an interview with the , the 11-time world champion confessed that he had two to four years left to live after his cancer diagnosis.

Additionally, he also revealed that his wife, , was also diagnosed with an incurable disease just a week before his diagnosis.

Sarra had undergone multiple scans that showed that she had multiple sclerosis, which is a degenerative disease.

During the , Chris shared his feelings about the devastating news that both he and his wife had incurable conditions, saying:

As unnatural as it feels, this is nature, You know, we were all born and we all die, and this is just part of the process

The couple has not shared with their children about their mother’s condition, though they know about their father’s incurable condition.

Sarra Has Been A Successful Professional In Addition To Being Chris’s Greatest Support System

Sarra Hoy is an advocate for neonatal health and the owner and founder of  a platform to improve the outcomes of neonatal babies.

She is also the author of Born at the Right Time, which highlights the challenges and joys of raising a premature baby. The book was written from personal experience, as both her children are premature.

Additionally, Sarra is a passionate public speaker who raises awareness of preterm birth and neonatal care in the UK.

She is also the ambassador of , a nonprofit organizationthat helps premature babies in the UK.

Much of her professional work has been related to premature children, as she experienced it with her own children.

Besides being a devoted mother and a successful professional, she is also her husband’s biggest supporter.

Chris has frequently publicly spoken of his wife’s support and gives credit for much of his success to his wife.
