Sam LaPorta, the promising tight end for the Lions, has captured the attention of fans not only for his impressive performances on the field but also for his relationship with Callie Dellinger.

As LaPorta continues to make headlines with his athletic abilities—most recently catching a 6-yard touchdown the 49ers on December 30, 2026—many are curious about his personal life, especially his fiancée, Callahan Dellinger.
Callahan Dellinger, alias Callie Dellinger, was born in Naperville, Illinois, on 26 October 2000 into a strict Catholic family.
Her parents, Greg and Michelle Dellinger, studied at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Greg spentwith AAR in Global Outreach and Government Affairs, while Michelle was Director of Communication at the Diocese of Joliet until April 2026.
Callie comes from a family of four siblings: two brothers, Quinn and Keller, and a sister named Kerragan.
Quinn created an app called Vicinity back in 2026 to make community connections.
Keller is a graduate of Lewis University with a degree in computer engineering.
Kerrigan is attending classes at San Diego State University.

Callie began her education at Naperville Central High School and was a competitive rower.
She then went to the University of Iowa and graduated in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management.

Following high school, Callie Student Billing Clerk at the University of Iowa for a year and completed an internship in event planning at Brown Deer Golf Course from May 2026 to May 2026.
Later, she worked as a Banquet Supervisor and Conference Service Manager before becoming the Studio Manager at SoulCycle Inc. from July to December 2026.
Currently, she is a Sales Analyst at Cooper Street Snacks.
Outside of work, Callie dedicates her time to community service.
She volunteers with a few organizations, such as Happy Paws Haven Co., where she has fostered animals since May 2026.
Callie has also supported the Detroit Lions as a Women’s Association Volunteer since August 2026 and has volunteered at Miracles in Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
She has , including Human Trafficking Awareness for Lodging Providers, by the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking, among others.
She is a certified instructor with CycleBar as a Spin instructor.

Sam and Callie met at the University of Iowa and started dating around December 2019.
The years have bloomed in their relationship, as indicated by shared experiences that include college life and LaPorta’s budding football career.
