Lorrie Tolbert, once a stunning waitress at T.G.I. Fridays, is now Tom Tolbert’s wife after he met her during their college days at the University of Arizona.
Tom Tolbert is a former NBA player and longtime sports radio host in the Bay Area.
He played in the NBA for seven seasons, including three with the Golden State Warriors.
After retiring from basketball, he transitioned into sports radio and became a prominent voice at KNBR.

Tom Tolbert is married to Lorrie Tolbert. They met during their college days at the University of Arizona, where Lorrie worked as a waitress at a team dinner at T.G.I. Fridays.
On Bill Simmons Podcast, Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors, shared a funny story about how Tom met his wife.
Additionally, Kerr mentioned that all the guys were impressed by her, but Tom was able to get her number and eventually asked her out.
He mentioned:
We had these team dinners, I think we went to Fridays, and the waitress was just drop-dead gorgeous, All of the guys were like, ‘oh my gosh. Look at her. Look at her.’ And Kenny Lofton was totally trying to hit on her.He’s like trying to get her number and Tolbert not only gets her number, But he ends up marrying her.
They have been happily married ever since and live in Alameda, California.

Tom Tolbert Fired From KNBR After a Notable 28-Year Tenure
Beloved sports radio host Tom was fired as part of a big change at the station, where several other longtime hosts were also fired.
This change came after several other departures over the past year, including well-known hosts like Paul McCaffrey and F.P. Santangelo.
Tolbert had been a constant presence at KNBR since 1996, first co-hosting the popular “Razor and Mr. T” show with Ralph Barbieri.
Then, he partnered with various hosts like Ray Ratto and John Lund.
In addition to Tom Tolbert, it sounds like "Papa & Lund" co-host, John Lund, and long-time Creative Director, Tony Rhein are also out at KNBR. It's another dark day at KNBR, with a couple of the longest tenured employees in the building sent packing.

Tolbert confirmed this news in a text to SFGATE. He also mentioned that he would have one final show before his departure.
Many fans expressed sadness and disappointment, as Tolbert had been a beloved voice for nearly three decades.
