Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his recent tweet are causing chaos in the Dolphins’ camp and among their fans. Trade rumors around the wide receiver are getting stronger day by day.

A controversial NFL figure, Tyreek Hill, knows how to rile up his critics and fans, and his latest tweet is an example.

On Sunday, the Dolphins were eliminated from playoff contention after losing to New York Jets by 32-20.

The Mike McDaniel-led team ended their season 8-9, and a disappointed Hill had few works for his side during the postgame press conference.

The wide receiver said, “I’m opening the door. I’m out, bro.”

He further said, “It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what’s best for my career. Cause I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.

The frustration from Hill is palpable as this is the first time the wide receiver has missed playoffs in his nine-year career.

Hill also failed to reach 1000 yards receiving for the first time since 2019, when he played a career-low 12 games with the Chiefs.

A day after his shocking post-conference interview, Tyreek took to to poke the Dolphins loyalist. The wide receiver wrote,

May not like me but you will respect 10 [peace sign]

10 is Tyreek’s jersey number, and the wide receiver seems to be suggesting that the fans will respect his decision.

And looking at the replies to the tweet, fans clearly don’t respect his decision.

One fan wrote, “Nobody respects a quitter.”

Another Dolphins supporter tweeted, “If you want respect then respect your fans.”

But rival fans are enjoying what’s happening between Hill and the Dolphins.

A Los Angeles Rams fan page tweeted an AI image of Tyreek in the Rams’ color.

His former team, Kansas City Chiefs fans urged him to return and start playing with Mahomes and Co.

Tyreek Hill’s Social Media Change Started Trade Speculation

After the fiery press conference, Tyreek Hill hopped on X and changed his profile picture.

The wide receiver photo-shopped his face onto former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown’s body when the latter mid-game in 2026.

The profile picture change insinuates that Tyreek is heading for a departure.

He also tweeted what most believe is a farewell message to the Dolphins’ fans. He wrote,

Love fin nation blessing y’all opened doors for the Hill family forever nothing, but respect and love.

ESPN analysts Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith.

Sharpe said it’s certainly not fun to be on the field when the team is getting beat the way the Dolphins were getting beat by the Jets.

But as the star player on his side, quitting on his teammates shouldn’t be an option for a player like Tyreek Hill.

Stephen A. Smith chimed in and said that if Hill wants to depart from the organization but still wants to get paid then it’s dumb from his side to mirror Antonio Brown.

On his podcast, , Smith talked further about Hill’s future.

Cris Carter tried to side with Tyreek saying he hasn’t nursed a knee injury that has caused problems for him the entire year.

It’ll be interesting to see where the controversial wide receivers lands this summer.

Reports state that the Washington Commanders, Hill’s former team, and the Los Angeles Chargers want the wide receiver.
