In May 2026, Corey revealed through a heartfelt Facebook post that he had been battling renal kidney failure and had undergone two open-heart surgeries.
He shared his journey with transparency, stating,
“‘I am currently undergoing treatment for Renal Kidney Failure as well as underwent two open-heart surgeries and have been privately dealing with it for the last two years. I’m sharing this now because I want to be an advocate for all those who are experiencing similar challenges, and come together for a greater purpose – our health.”
