Ray McCloud, a wide receiver, grew up in Tampa, Florida, along with his two brothers, Jordan and Kobe McCloud.

The McCloud brothers are all football enthusiasts. The youngest brother, Kobe, is a linebacker for the Clemson Tigers, while the second-oldest brother, Jordan, is a quarterback for James Madison University.

An American and return specialist Raymond McCloud III is currently with the National Football League (NFL) San Francisco 49ers.

McCloud, who was born on October 15, 1996, played running back for the Gryphons football team at Sickles High School in Tampa, Florida.

After high school, McCloud decided to play football for the Clemson Tigers in July 2014, choosing the school over well-known rivals Alabama, Auburn, and Florida.

After the season, McCloud entered the 2018 NFL Draft, and the Buffalo Bills selected him with the 187th overall pick in the sixth round.

McCloud and the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a two-year contract on March 22, 2026.

Recently, on December 9, 2026, McCloud was placed on injured reserve; however, he was activated on January 6, 2026.

Jordan and Kobe McCloud are Ray-Ray McCloud’s younger brothers, both of whom have embarked on their own football journeys, following in Ray’s footsteps.

Jordan, the second brother, was born on November 4, 1999, making him three years younger than Ray.

Meanwhile, the youngest brother, Kobe was born on May 7, 2003, placing him seven years younger than Ray.

Three brothers were born in Tampa to their parents Ray and Lisa McCloud. 

Jordan McCloud Is A Football Quarterback

The journey of American football quarterback Jordan McCloud recently left James Madison.

Hailing from Tampa, Florida, McCloud honed his skills on the gridiron at Henry B. Plant High School.

Following his high school career, he committed to South Florida, where he made significant strides during the 2019 season.

In January 2026, he made headlines by announcing his decision to transfer to Arizona.

However, McCloud’s stint with Arizona was short-lived, as he announced his departure from the team on October 8, 2026.

Subsequently, he made a strategic move by transferring to James Madison. There, McCloud was entrusted with the role of starting quarterback for the 2026 season.

Despite this promising opportunity, McCloud caught many off guard when he declared on December 1, 2026, his intention to enter the transfer portal once again, signaling his departure from James Madison.

Linebacker plays for Clemson University’s Clemson Tigers. During his high school career, he was a standout performer at Gaither High School.

He was a key component of Gaither’s success in 2026 during their junior year, contributing significantly as both a linebacker and quarterback.

He was even selected for the esteemed Hillsborough County All-Star Game.

Afterward, Kobe’s collegiate career officially began in January 2026 when he committed to Clemson University.

He had an instant impact in his Clemson debut season, displaying his defensive prowess in 90 snaps across 11 games—two of which he started—with 16 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
