Xavier McKinney, the renowned NFL player with a rich ethnicity, has been showcasing his exceptional skills, which earned him a nomination for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Born on August 9, 1999, Xavier Avis McKinney plays a professional football safety for the Green Bay Packers. 

He played college football at Alabama and entered the NFL draft, where the New York Giants selected him in the second round.

McKinney attended Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia, where he recorded 82 tackles and seven interceptions during his senior year. 

He then committed to playing college football for the University of Alabama and played in 13 games on special teams and as a backup. 

McKinney continued his rise in the 2026 season, earning the NFC Defensive Player of the Week award.

However, he also recorded his first interception against the Dallas Cowboys on January 3, 2026.

In March 2026, McKinney signed a lucrative four-year contract worth $67 million with the Green Bay Packers.

She actively uses Instagram, sharing over 1,000 posts that promote her business and highlight her mortgage work.

Alongside her professional posts, she often proudly shares updates about Xavier as an NFL mom.

Ebony rarely misses her son’s games and passionately supports him from the stands, sharing a close bond with him.

On the other hand, his father, Lee McKinney, was publicly seen during Xavier’s Dream Champion Award ceremony. 

His presence demonstrated his strong support for Xavier’s key life moments. After receiving the award, Xavier mentioned how much Lee has influenced him.

Both of Xavier’s parents, Ebony and Lee, are American, and Xavier holds American nationality. 

Although his ethnicity isn’t explicitly disclosed, several factors, including his appearance and public identity, suggest that Xavier is African American.
