Young Hockey Star From Fox Motors Hockey Club Natalia Moore Remembered For Her Spirit and Talent

Former Wyandotte Warrior hockey player Natalia Moore sadly died on January 26, 2026, at just 12 years of age.
She was an exceptionally gifted player with great speed, ability, and sportsmanship and a future star on the local hockey scene.
Natalia Moore’s sudden death is believed to be a suicide, which bullying during her life likely caused.
Natalia’s parents, Mira and Jason Moore were heartbroken over the loss of their loving and energetic daughter.
The Wyandotte Warriors also remembered her as a lively player who wore jersey numbers 44 and 26 whenever she stepped onto the games.
She continued playing for the Fox Motors Hockey Club, and she played for the 12U Girls Tier 2 team.
The Fox Motors Hockey Club mourned her in emotional words:-
“Hey everyone, this is Natalia’s dad Jason. Thank you so much for all the love that’s poured out. Mira ( Natalias mom) and myself are so grateful for the love from the hockey community and others. Sending love 🧡 to everyone on the post from mira and jason.”
ViaThe club has also encouraged anyone who is struggling or knows someone who is to reach out for help by calling or texting 988 to connect with the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
In Natalia’s memory, her family organized a tribute event at The Yack Arena on the 30th of January at 7:30 PM, with an open invitation for all to attend and celebrate her life.
Balloons are also provided so people can release them in Natalia Moore’s memory.
Support from the community has been immense, with many posting condolences on social media and commenting-:
“Just terrible , so sorry Fox family, and team. This is terrible. Please if you are struggling, if something is wrong at home, school, relationship..etc. Please don’t be afraid to ask for help. You should never feel embarrassed or scared to ask for help. Prayers to her and family. “

A touching gesture of remembrance has begun, where individuals place hockey sticks outside their properties with the hashtag #sticksoutforNatalia.
Natalia’s father, Jason Moore, expressed gratitude for the kindness of the hockey community and people who expressed their condolence and stated-:
“Hi everyone, this is Natalia’s dad Jason. Thanks to all of you so much for the love. Mira (Natalia’s mom) and I are incredibly thankful to the hockey community and others as well. Sending love”
ViaShe was the heart of her family, and her parents wholeheartedly supported her throughout her hockey career.
Losing their beloved middle child is a heartbreaking tragedy for them.
Natalia’s memory as a great daughter and young skater will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her.
She was remembered not only for her ability on the ice but for her humor and support of her friends as well.
Her death reminds us all of the trials that young athletes are currently going through, namely mental health and bullying.
Loved Ones remember Natalia and try to make others conscious of bullying and mental problems among young athletes.
